Dance Through the Decades: A Night Out for a Great Cause 🎶

Montana gardeners are spotting more praying mantis oothecae, the distinctive egg cases clinging to twigs and stems throughout the region.

These foamy cases safeguard mantis eggs through winter, ultimately releasing hatchlings come spring.

The Western Heritage Center in Billings has launched “Having a Beer in Billings,” inviting locals to explore the city’s history with beer through an immersive exhibit running until December 2026.

This interactive experience traces Billings’ brewing story from early 1900s beginnings to its present-day craft boom, featuring artifacts, photos, and personal stories that reveal beer’s lasting influence on local life.

Get ready, Billings! Craft Beer Week is back May 10–16, 2026, and we’re packing the calendar with brewery fun all week long. Whether you’re here for brunch, trivia, movies, tournaments, or chasing check-ins along the Brew Trail, this is your excuse to explore the best of our local craft beer scene.

And the grand finale? The Last Best Beer Run – a Downtown Billings celebration that starts at Montana Brewing Co. and ends at Dehler Park for a huge community-style after party.

Billings’ South Park transformed into a lively center of Hispanic pride on May 2, 2026, as student-led group Raza Unida hosted its vibrant second annual Cinco de Mayo celebration.
