Welcome back to the Trailhead Buzz!

Summer is settling in across Billings, and this week brings plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy it. From live music downtown and baseball at Dehler Park to Pride celebrations, historic tours at Moss Mansion, and a packed weekend of community events, there's something happening in every corner of the city.

Whether you're planning your next night out, looking for a family-friendly adventure, or just want to stay in the loop on what's buzzing around town, we've rounded up the highlights for the week ahead.

The Dead South + Amigo the Devil

Wednesday, June 17 • 6 PM • Downtown Skatepark
One of the biggest shows of the month lands in Billings this week. Expect a packed crowd, folk-punk energy, and plenty of singalong moments under the summer sky.

 

Alive After 5: The Hellroaring

Thursday, June 18 • 5–8 PM • The Monte Bar & Casino
Downtown's summer concert series continues with Montana's own honky-tonk sound. Grab dinner downtown, meet friends, and enjoy one of the city's favorite summer traditions.


 

🏛️ History & Culture  Moss Mansion Summer Tours

Wednesday–Sunday
The mansion's summer exhibit, Woven History: Rugs of the Moss Mansion, is now open. Visitors can see antique floor coverings from around the world and explore one of Billings' most iconic historic homes.

Special "Woven History" Behind-the-Scenes Tour

Sunday, June 21 - A deeper dive into the exhibit with access to areas and stories not typically included in standard tours. Great pick for history buffs and architecture fans.

A full weekend homestand at Dehler Park. Summer baseball season is officially rolling.

ZooMontana's summer season is underway, with evening programs and special events appearing throughout June. Check the zoo's weekly calendar before heading out.

 

Weekend at the Rims

Not a scheduled event, but with long daylight hours and forecasted summer weather, Zimmerman Park, Swords Park, and the Rimrocks remain some of the best free ways to spend a June evening in Billings.
