Horror Convention MetraPark Brings Scares to Billings Montana |
Billings Horror Con returns to MetraPark with more vendors, celebrity guests, and chilling experiences for Montana horror fans |

Billings Horror Con is back — and this time, it's going bigger.
After a debut run that drew hundreds of fans and dozens of vendors to the MetraPark Expo Center, the horror convention returns on October 24th and 25th, 2026, with a far more ambitious lineup.
Organized by Dragon Egg Games, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and promises an expanded roster of celebrity guests, vendors, and horror-themed experiences for Montana's passionate genre community.
For a fanbase long underserved in this part of the country, the growth of this convention feels like something of a milestone.
The inaugural edition came together in just over four months and still managed to fill the expo floor with 45 vendors and a crowd that surprised even its own organizer.
This year's edition arrives with more resources, and the difference is already visible in the guest announcements.
Confirmed celebrity appearances include C.J. Graham, the Billings-born actor best known for portraying Jason Voorhees, along with Lew Temple and Lisa Wilcox, both fan favorites from iconic horror franchises.
Graham brings a rare hometown connection that few conventions anywhere can claim, having met fans at the autograph table just miles from his own neighborhood last year.
The horror convention at MetraPark isn't just about autographs — this year features a Vampire Masquerade Ball Saturday evening at 6 p.m., complete with a cash prize costume contest already generating buzz across the region.
That kind of programming signals a clear shift from a scrappy first-year event to a full-scale regional destination for horror fans.
Attendees can also look forward to cosplay competitions, horror art, collectibles, and local vendors who made last year's floor a genuine community showcase.
That organic, locally rooted energy is exactly what separates Billings Horror Con from the polished, corporate-feeling conventions that dominate bigger markets.
Tickets start at just five dollars, keeping the event accessible for fans of all ages.
Planning for 2027 is already reportedly underway, with organizers eyeing larger guest announcements and new attractions like a haunted house experience.
What started as a bold four-month experiment has quietly become one of the most exciting events on Billings' entertainment calendar. |
