Billings Instructor Recovers Stolen Rodeo Equipment, Seeks Justice

Community Support Aids in Recovery; Two Saddles Still Missing

Brittany Miller, a professional bronc rider and bucking horse instructor from Billings, has successfully recovered most of her stolen rodeo equipment after her horse trailer was taken earlier this month.

While grateful for the return of her gear, Miller is still searching for two missing saddles and is determined to see justice served against those responsible for the theft.

"These are mine, and I recovered them this morning," Miller stated as she sorted through the retrieved items on Monday.

Although she refrained from disclosing specifics about how she located the stolen equipment, Miller emphasized her commitment to holding the perpetrators accountable.

"I want them to understand that they’re not going to get away with this. It's just a matter of time," she asserted.

Over the past 15 years, Miller has meticulously built her collection of rodeo gear, essential for her daily work and training sessions.

Through a combination of personal investigation, community support, and a bit of luck, she identified the vehicle involved in the theft.

"I’m just very grateful to the entire community—the ag-ranching, cowboy rodeo, and horse community. We’re one big family, and this entire situation proves that," Miller expressed.

Her Facebook post detailing the theft garnered over a million views, reflecting widespread support and concern.

Law enforcement is now aware of the suspect vehicle and its driver, thanks to Miller's efforts.

She remains hopeful for an arrest and the return of her remaining saddles.

"I’m so close to finishing this entire process. I’m pretty damn sure I am going to get my saddles back. I’m so hot on his trail, and all it’s going to take now is time," Miller said.

Her determination underscores the resilience of the Billings rodeo community in the face of adversity.
