Billings City Pools Closing Starting August 15

Here's what to expect...

  • All wading pools will close for the season on Thursday, August 15, at 6 p.m.
  • South Pool wraps up the season on Saturday, August 24, at 6 p.m.
  • Rose Park Pool will remain open until Friday, August 30, at 6 p.m., but will operate on reduced hours during the final week, depending on lifeguard availability.
  • Spray grounds will stay open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through the end of the season. You’ll find those at North, South, Terry, Highland, and Castle Rock Parks.

The  Billings Police Department is accepting applications for their Fall Citizen's Police Academy.

The free eight-week program offers a unique look into the daily operations of the department.

Starting on September 10, participants will meet every Wednesday at the Billings Police Department Training Facility to learn about various aspects of law enforcement.

This hands-on experience allows community members to connect with local officers and gain a better understanding of policing.

The program is open to anyone interested in public safety and applications are being accepted online.
