Savannah Bananas bring excitement to Dehler Park in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. – The Billings Mustangs and Visit Billings have teamed up to bring the Savannah Bananas to Dehler Park from August 20 to 22, 2025. This will be the only stop in Montana on the Bananas' tour.

The event promises to offer a unique experience filled with music, fan participation and nonstop action. The Savannah Bananas are known for their entertaining games, having sold out venues such as Tampa Bay's football stadium. Get your tickets soon. This will sell out!

Doc Holliday's Roadhouse - Coming Soon

Doc Holliday’s is slated to take over the former Gusick’s restaurant location in Billings. (720 S. 20th St. West) The concept leans into an Old West / roadhouse ambiance, with a menu that includes appetizers, burgers, steaks, mains, sides, and desserts. “Say When” hints at a relaxed but lively vibe, with food, drink, and decor meant to capture a roadhouse spirit. 

From their existing locations, here are typical offerings that might show up in Billings:

🧁 Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

🍴 Ingredients:

• 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

• 1 tsp baking soda

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp ground cinnamon

• ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice (or more cinnamon + nutmeg)

• 2 eggs

• 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

• ½ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)

• ¾ cup sugar (can reduce to ½ cup for less sweet)

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• ¾ cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or mini)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin pan with paper liners or grease well.

2. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.

3. In another bowl, whisk wet ingredients: eggs, pumpkin puree, oil, sugar, and vanilla.

4. Combine wet and dry ingredients just until blended. Don’t overmix.

5. Fold in chocolate chips.

6. Spoon batter into muffin cups about ¾ full.

7. Bake 20–23 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

8. Let cool slightly — enjoy warm or room temp!

🍁 Optional Twists:

• Add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch.

• Sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar on top before baking for a sweet crust.

• Use white chocolate chips for a different flavor.
